Why we exist
Modern health and development challenges rarely respect the boundaries between people, animals and the environment — but most programmes are still designed as if they do. Jibriva exists to close that gap, helping organisations respond with better evidence, stronger systems and implementation plans built to survive contact with the field.
Jibriva brings together expertise in One Health, public health, monitoring & evaluation, research, GIS and digital solutions to help organisations design stronger programmes and make better use of evidence. My Story
Jibriva didn't start with a business plan. It started with a pattern I kept seeing in health and development work: brilliant programmes, genuinely committed teams, and still — data that never quite reached the people making decisions, and surveillance systems that stopped at the edge of one sector because that's where the budget line ended.
One Health matters to me because disease, environment and livelihoods were never actually separate — we just built our institutions as if they were. So Jibriva exists to work in the space between sectors, bringing research, monitoring & evaluation and practical digital tools together in service of decisions that actually get made. The long-term vision is simple to say and hard to do: organisations across Nigeria and the wider region with the systems, evidence and confidence to manage their own health challenges.
